Welcome to Cove! I am a licensed clinical social worker and PhD of Social Work. After starting in the field of juvenile justice and working with court-involved youth, I studied adolescent well-being and the impact of work, family, and social dynamics. I have spent most of my career teaching at Boston College and advising future social workers through the beginnings of their professional journeys, and recently I worked as a consultant, developing programs for the Department of Mental Health’s Children’s Behavioral Health Initiative.
I see clients between the ages of 11 and 17. I am particularly interested in developing a strong and aligned working relationship with my clients, so that no matter the topic, they truly feel supported to embark on their next desired step forward. Sometimes we sit on the floor and play games, sometimes we add music, and a lot of the time we lean in to difficult topics in a really safe space. If you have an adolescent or teen who may benefit from meeting with a therapist, I would love to meet them.
Most importantly, I care deeply about creating spaces where youth, families, and individuals can have a voice in their care, a feeling of acceptance, and the opportunity for the best possible services to meet their needs. I always see hope with my clients. Because of this, Cove Wellness became my vision. I can’t wait to meet you and hope you feel a sense of healing and wellness as you experience our offerings.

Do you feel stuck? Are you having a hard time focusing? Has your past made it difficult for you to stay in the present? As a trauma therapist, I believe in the inherent resilience of every individual. My approach is rooted in trauma-informed care, emphasizing safety, empowerment, and collaboration. I will work with you to process your experiences, develop healthy coping strategies, and reclaim your life. I am committed to creating a space where you feel safe to explore your vulnerabilities and heal at your own pace. My areas of expertise are: Trauma, Anxiety, Depression, Dissociation, Boundaries, Grief and Disenfranchised Grief (loss of a pet), Life Transitions, Relationships, and Communication.
I utilize an Eclectic approach to therapy that combines various therapeutic techniques and theories to meet your unique needs. I utilize a combination of Attachment Theory, EMDR, Polyvagal Theory, Parts Work, Somatics, Mindfulness, Yoga Therapy, CBT, and ACT. Utilizing an Eclectic approach allows me allows me to provide you with customized and individualized support. I enjoy incorporating movement, nature, and spirituality into my practice and believe we are all capable of change and growth.
My journey to becoming a therapist includes a combination of education, lived experience, and a winding path. I have always loved animals, nature, social issues, and reading, and knew I wanted an unconventional career that would allow me to help the planet, so I initially pursued the goal of becoming a professor in Environmental Studies. I obtained a BA and MA in Environmental Studies, an MA in Liberal Studies, and a PhD in Environmental Management, where I focused on Environmental Education, Ecopsychology, Biophilia, and Nature Connection. While in school, I also pursued a parallel career as a Yoga and Pilates instructor, which allowed me to explore connection through movement. On that part of my journey, I completed three Yoga instructor certifications, a Trauma-informed Yoga instructor certification, and a comprehensive Pilates instructor certification.
For several years, I taught movement throughout northern NJ, and Sustainability and Social Issues at a small NJ-based college. However, while in therapy for my own trauma, I was encouraged to pursue social work by my then therapist. She helped me realize I could apply my experience, knowledge, and passion in the field of social work as a nature-informed and body-focused trauma therapist. Shortly after, I returned to graduate school where I completed a Masters degree in Social Work. Today, I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Massachusetts and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in NJ. I have worked as an outpatient trauma therapist in the Boston area for three years, and previously worked with individuals experiencing homelessness in a community setting in northern NJ.
Choosing to start therapy is a big step, and can feel intimidating. I am here to help support you on your journey. Together we will discuss your goals, identify challenges, and create a plan. I look forward to meeting you and determining if we are a good fit.

Hello! I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Licensed School Counselor with over 20 years of experience—and I am grateful and honored to sit with individuals, couples, and families during some of life’s most vulnerable, challenging, and meaningful moments.
At Cove Wellness Center, I work with people who are looking for more than just tools to get by. They’re seeking real connection, clarity, and a deeper sense of peace within themselves and in their relationships. Whether you're a couple feeling distant or in crisis, a parent needing support, or an individual feeling overwhelmed or stuck—I offer a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can feel truly seen, heard, and understood as you navigate the ups and downs of life.
My journey as a clinician began with a Bachelor’s degree in Counseling Psychology, as well as a dual Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling from Boston College. I bring a strong clinical foundation shaped by years of experience working across diverse treatment settings—including McLean Hospital, where I had the privilege of working alongside leading clinicians in the field of mental health and DBT. My background also includes work in residential treatment, inpatient and outpatient programs, partial hospitalization programs, and public schools. These experiences have shaped my deep respect for the resilience of the human spirit—and my belief that healing looks different for everyone, and happens at different paces.
My therapeutic approach draws from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), attachment theory, and trauma-informed care. These approaches help me tailor therapy to each person’s unique needs, and guide clients toward meaningful change at a pace that feels right for them. I believe that healing starts from the inside out- and that true transformation happens through connection: with ourselves, with others, and with the intricacies of our stories that deserve compassion and understanding.
If you're feeling stuck, hopeless, disconnected, or just ready to explore something deeper, I’m here. You don’t have to do this alone—and you don’t have to have it all figured out. I’ll meet you right where you are, and I’d be honored to walk with you on your healing path.

I am an experienced Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of working with children, adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. If you are ready to make meaningful changes and open to exploring how different areas of your life connect to your mental health, I would love to work with you.
My approach starts with empathic listening before anything else. I take the time to understand all aspects of your life—your history, your relationships, your strengths, and your goals for treatment. From there, we build a plan together, often drawing on a trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and restorative framework. I also have extensive experience supporting people with complex and co-occurring mental health concerns. I utilize Cognitive-Behavioral, Solution-Focused, and Narrative Therapy techniques along with other clinical modalities.
My background spans clinical, educational, forensic, and medical settings—including emergency departments at Boston Medical Center and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, the Department of Children and Families, the Massachusetts Trial and Probate Court, and therapeutic residential treatment and school programs. I also facilitate clinical supervision and consultation, while teaching graduate students at the Boston College School of Social Work, and currently serve as a school and district-based program director.
I hold a Master’s in Social Work and a certificate in Urban Leadership and Advanced Clinical Practice, with advanced postgraduate training and coursework in Educational Leadership, Forensic Social Work, and Sport Social Work. In addition to being an active board member for clinicians, child therapy, assessment, and safety, I have long been involved in youth sports and community development.
I believe that with the right support, real change is possible for anyone. Please feel free to reach out—I’m happy to talk about whether we might be a good fit.

Being a teen can feel like so much... pressure, expectations, overthinking, mood swings, relationships, and trying to figure out who you even are. If anxiety, stress, or intense emotions are getting in the way, I want you to know that it doesn’t have to be this hard, and you don’t have to keep handling it by yourself.
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Mental Health Counselor, as well as a Certified Clinical Anxiety Provider and Certified ADHD Services Provider. Ever since I was in middle school, I knew I wanted to be a therapist. I got my bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Creative Writing, followed by my Master’s degree from Fairfield University. I’ve worked with teens and young adults in schools, college counseling centers, and private practice, helping with anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, and big life transitions.
In therapy, we focus on helping you quiet the “bully of the mind,” understand what’s actually going on inside, and build real skills to handle stress, anxiety, and tough emotions. My style is collaborative and down-to-earth, and I like to think I’m pretty funny. We’ll figure things out together in a way that actually feels useful.
I use approaches like CBT, DBT, ACT, ERP, IFS, and polyvagal-informed care. More importantly, I tailor things to you so it makes sense and works in real life. Therapy should feel like a place where you can be honest, feel understood, and start to feel more like yourself again. I look forward to being on your team.
